A new benchmark for Kashmir orchards
Public coverage around the launch describes this site as Kashmir Agriventures’ state-of-the-art model orchard in Zazna, created to introduce the Bibaum® training system and advanced apple planting concepts to the valley. The orchard was presented as a practical demonstration site where growers can see modern canopy architecture, better light distribution, and a more efficient orchard layout in real field conditions.
Zazna sits in one of Ganderbal’s known fruit-growing belts and is closely associated with apple production and the local fruit mandi. That makes the location especially relevant for a flagship demonstration orchard designed to inspire nearby growers and accelerate adoption of premium orchard systems in the region.
